GlocalishEnglish and Korean language education
Learn English or Korean through real conversation and cultural context.Practise what to say, to whom and in each situation.
What Glocalish Means
Glocalish began with Global, Local and English, connecting people and cultures to a wider world through English and Korean.
TEACHING FROM BOTH SIDES
Roselyn learned English as an additional language, trained professionally in TESOL and built a long English-teaching career. Korean is her first language, supported by a Korean Language Teacher Certificate, Level 2, and Korean teaching experience at the University of Auckland.
That perspective shapes every Glocalish lesson: what you say matters, but so do the relationship, situation and way you want to sound.
Choose language that can be casual, warm, polite, professional, diplomatic or assertive.
Learn how relationship, age, familiarity and situation shape the words and tone you use.

The Educator Behind Glocalish
Roselyn is the founder of Glocalish and a qualified English and Korean language educator. She brings together a Master of TESOL with Distinction, extensive adult English teaching and a Korean Language Teacher Certificate, Level 2.
Having learned English as an additional language and taught Korean as a foreign language, she understands both the learner’s side and the teacher’s side. Glocalish turns that experience into practical communication, not memorised textbook lines.
